Ride Your Dream
Welcome.... to V4 Dreams, celebrating one of Soichiro Honda's finest creations, the VF and VFR line of Interceptor sport motorcycles, powered by a jewel of mechanical engineering, the exquisite V4 engine.
I'm Joe Nelson. This website is part of my retirement hobby — finding, preserving and passing on these great machines. I specialize in the second, third and forth generation of the Interceptor, but primarily the second-gen 1986-87 VFR 700/750.
I'm happy to help with your technical questions where I can, or help to assess a potential purchase.
Contact me directly or via the form at the bottom of this page.

Along the top of each page you'll find navigation tabs:
Check the "Shop Blog" for current projects, along with other thoughts, opinions, and interesting VFRs for sale around the internet.
"Maintenance" is the place for tips and wrenching tutorials.
I'm continually searching out bits and pieces to help keep Interceptors on the road where they belong, as well as sourcing no-longer-available replacements, some of which are available on the "Products" page.
Many of the VFRs I've laid my greasy fingers on are featured on the "My VFRs" page.
Finally, for a historical perspective on the Interceptor lineage, please visit the "Historical" page.
Please contact me (below) with helpful comments, questions and requests.

CARBURETOR REBUILDING OR EXCHANGE
I offer a carburetor rebuilding service for 1986-1993 VFR carburetors. A carb set may be purchased outright with an exchange credit or I will rebuild your carbs.
This service includes disassembly, inspection, ultrasonic cleaning, reassembly plus testing and syncing on a running engine. Ready to install and ride away. VITON seals are installed along with any necessary parts, including a jet kit, if desired. There's a per-hour labor charge and additional parts are at cost.
I don't typically work with 1st or 4th-gen carbs as I don't have engines available for testing and tuning.
Contact me for details.
