This is just the kind of shop manual you want — no up-charge for the dog-eared pages and grease smudges. Even if you don't actually turn wrenches on your ride, it'll make you look the biz. Covers all years of the third and fourth generation Interceptor. Bidding starts at $.99 plus $3.09 shipping.
As OEM service and owner's manuals become more coveted, the prices trend upward. Supply & demand, as it were. I'm always on the virtual lookout for real paper for our old bikes, and here's a potential eBay bargain.

What: 2010 VFR1200F Where: Lebanon, Oregon Why: Lots of machine for the money Price: $6795 OBO At the risk of repeating myself, the 1200 Interceptor of 2010-13 represents the best sport-touring bargain out there, and here's a prime example of why I think that's true. Showing 11.000 miles and offered by an obviously knowledgeable and caring owner, this 2010 "standard shift" model (no DCT trans) is fitted with some desirable upgrades, including re-sprung and re-valved forks, heated grips and aftermarket windscreen. The only thing I'd add is a slip-on muffler to let the V4 music be heard. No luggage options are included, but they're available if needed. I'm sure it's tough for our seller to let this beauty go, but someone will be getting a great machine for small money. |
