Up for sale is my refurbished and ready to ride 1986 Honda VFR700F Interceptor. Original condition with a few desirable upgrades in gorgeous red, white & blue. 25,050 miles, mechanically and cosmetically inspected, cleaned, updated, replaced, repaired. . .whatever needed attention was accomplished. This is an original-condition survivor Interceptor in excellent condition with only a few minor flaws. No issues, no excuses, no disappointments. The paint is gorgeous, the mechanics are correct, the tank is rust-free inside. The bike starts and runs perfectly hot or cold.

This second generation Interceptor is historically significant in Honda's sport bike history, was ahead of it's time, and combines the 11,500 RPM redline of a smaller displacement engine with the torque of a 700. The V4 is a jewel of engineering and has a sound and feel unmatched by inline four cylinder engines. These are unique bikes and will never lose a dime of value.

My hobby is finding and returning these great second generation Interceptors to the road and back into the hands of new owners who appreciate their performance, beauty and historical significance and will care for them into the future. Please visit my website for more on what I do: V4Dreams.com

- Colors are Fighting Red, Candy Aleutian Blue and Shasta White
- Includes the hard-to-find passenger seat cowl in excellent condition

- The bike is all original as far as I can determine with the exception of a professional repaint of the right-side fairing. The tank is in excellent condition with two small touch-up spots and a quarter-sized depression near the rear. Please visit the Flickr photo gallery for details.

What's been done recently:

- Fluids flushed
- New fuel lines and filter
- Ariete hand grips installed
- Galfer stainless braided brake lines -- front & rear
- Brake calipers bench cleaned, new HH pads
- Shorter stalks mounted on front turn signals to tuck the signals closer to the body
- LED rear turn signals — reproduction CBR400 (JHM)
- Chain and sprockets (OEM gearing) inspected and appear to be recently installed
- Bike is completely cleaned and detailed

The bike is located in Antioch IL, north of Chicago near the WI border. I can deliver the bike at no charge within 100 driving miles of Antioch IL via open trailer, or farther by arrangement. If you're able, please come by and inspect the bike in person. Sorry, no test rides. I have a clear and clean IL title in my name with no issues. Thanks for looking.
